Simon, founder of the Academy is a professional multi-instrumentalist with over 10 years of experience teaching and performing music.
He enjoys teaching students of all ages and abilities, creating a fun and relaxed learning environment where everyone can feel comfortable developing their skills.
His flexible teaching methods are tailored to each student, helping you learn at your own pace while focusing on the music you enjoy.
Whether you’re picking up an instrument for the first time or looking to take your playing to the next level, Simon will help you build your skills, confidence and passion for music.

THE TEACHERS
Scotty is a charismatic professional musician in the Whitsundays, with a degree in contemporary Music Practice and two music diplomas, offering lessons in guitar, bass and ukulele.
He performs both solo and as part of various bands, bringing massive energy and experience to everything he does.
He specialises in beginner and intermediate teaching, making sure that the love of music always comes first.
With his fun, energetic approach and love for performing, Scotty makes learning music an enjoyable experience for students of all ages.
UK-born and now calling Australia home, Libby has a degree in Musical Theatre and spent over 6 years performing in London’s West End across various shows, as well as working in film and television, and major music companies including Sony and Syco, giving her an insight into both the creative and professional sides of the industry.
With a passion for soul music and helping others find their confidence, she brings her professional experience to every lesson.
She offers vocal lessons for teenagers and adults, with a focus on vocal control, confidence and performance.
